A Family Owned Vacation Cabin Getaway!
Choices, Choices, Choices
We know you have lots of options when it comes to choosing a place to stay in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. With nearly 11,000 available, it is difficult to make your cabin stand out! While there are many differently accommodations, there are also many different experiences. Some people prefer the large hotels and corporate owned resorts, but others are looking for a more familiar, home-like experience. We try to cater to those guests specifically.
We are strong believers in "shopping small" and supporting local businesses and artists. While there are certain amenities and advantages to staying with a chain resort, there is also a lack of personal service. We think you'll find that any of the services and amenities you can get from a large corporate property, you will get, with the personal touch from Elk Springs Resort. Part of the experience of the Smoky Mountains is to take in all of the local arts, crafts and nature, not just spending your time on the midway at all of the tourist attractions. We are trying to provide an authentic mountain Tennessee experience for our guests, with all of the comforts of home.
We personally had stayed with two different cabin companies here in Gatlinburg before we purchased Bear Cub Lodge, and I can honestly say, the difference with Elk Springs resort is night and day. With other corporate companies, we experienced broken locks, unclean facilities, ancient televisions and VCRs, difficult to find locations, non working hot tubs, and terrible customer service. Our experience with Elk Springs Resort has been a breath of fresh air. We take great pride in the condition of the cabin, keeping things up-to-date, adding new features and entertainment as well as making sure maintenance issues are taken care of promptly and with as little interruption to your vacation as possible. Elk Springs Resort calls the cabins "Luxury Cabins", and though I don't care for the term, it is true, that the cabins in this resort are a few steps above what we've seen elsewhere.
